ABSTRACT

DTBP (Di‐ tert ‐butyl peroxide)‐mediated oxidative reactions represent an attractive approach for synthetic organic chemistry. This review highlights the recent advancements of oxidative strategies for synthetic chemistry, like C─H functionalization and other reactions. Recent studies have highlighted the efficacy of DTBP as an oxidant in activating sp 3 C─H activation and functionalization reactions. Notably, the use of the DTBP approach, which combines metal/metal‐free activation with remote C─H activation, has created a revolutionary impact in synthetic chemistry. Various DTBP‐mediated oxidative reactions are discussed with numerous examples and proposed mechanisms. This review is expected to be a short, authoritative, and comprehensive analysis of the DTBP for the chemistry community.
