Development of the PEG framework: Victoria Claire in conversation with Robert Hurst
Victoria Claire, Robert HurstPurpose
This paper aims to set out the perceive, engage, give meaning (PEG) framework. The paper highlights the development of this model, from academic, artistic and lived experience perspectives.
Design/methodology/approach
This is a conceptual work, outlining the PEG framework and providing context for how it came to be.
Findings
The PEG framework is described, and the lead author speculates on where the future lies for this idea. Workshops have been carried out with art students, and the authors wonder what other groups may find benefit in these sensory embodiment activities.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first paper to conceptualise the PEG framework. Future directions are considered and suggested.
