Development of state support measures for Russian teachers

The article provides a brief historical and pedagogical background on the implementation of policies in the field of state support for Russian teachers and increasing the prestige of their professional activities. It is proposed to extend the additional support measures for teachers listed in Decree No. 498 of the President of the Russian Federation "On Additional Support Measures for Teachers" of July 20, 2026, to include faculty members of federal, regional, provincial, and municipal specialized pedagogical universities, academies, and institutes for advanced teacher training, where their professional training and postgraduate education are conducted.
