Development of a sodium negative electrode based on sol–gel derived amorphous TiO 2

Sol–gel chemistry was used to synthesize a predominantly amorphous TiO 2 structure that supported high Na + capacity without requiring induced amorphization. This offers a positive direction for creating Na + electrode materials for grid-level storage.
