This paper reports the development of a modular gas-phase reactor testbench for heterogeneous photocatalytic studies with integrated instrumentation and automation capabilities. The system was built by integrating multiple instruments such as mass flow controllers, a controlled evaporator mixer, solenoid valves, and multi-wavelength light emitting diode illumination to enable precise regulation of gas composition, flow rates, and photon flux. A compact data acquisition platform is employed for real-time signal acquisition and control, while gas species concentrations are monitored using multiple sensors. The entire setup is interfaced through a Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench based architecture that enables automated operation and programmable experimental protocols. The modular design ensures flexibility in system configuration and facilitates reproducible reaction conditions and continuous monitoring. The developed testbench provides a scalable and customizable platform for photocatalyst evaluation, offering a practical framework for the development of integrated experimental systems for gas-phase photocatalytic reaction studies.
