Antenatal education is essential for promoting healthy lifestyle behaviors during pregnancy. However, traditional face-to-face classes are often limited by rigid schedules and restricted access. Digital learning platforms offer new opportunities to improve preventive care, support self-management, and increase health literacy among expectant parents. This study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of
Methods
The platform was developed following a research and development framework adapted from the Borg and Gall model. Feasibility was assessed by 11 experts and 23 pregnant women. Quantitative measures—usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and user satisfaction—were evaluated using a modified USE Questionnaire. User interactions were systematically monitored with a structured observation checklist, and qualitative user experiences were examined through thematic analysis.
Results
Expert evaluations demonstrated high feasibility across all assessed domains, with mean scores of 6.81 for usefulness, 6.78 for ease of learning, 6.74 for ease of use, and 6.88 for overall satisfaction. Similarly, pregnant participants provided positive assessments, with mean scores ranging from 6.56 to 6.66. Qualitative analysis identified several core strengths of the platform: comprehensive content, lifestyle-oriented features (such as prenatal yoga), interactive modules, and real-time consultation capabilities. Areas identified for technical improvement included navigation flow and login functionality.
Conclusion
Sejolikasmaran demonstrates strong feasibility and usability as a digital antenatal education tool. The platform offers a scalable supplement to traditional care, provided that technical infrastructure is optimized and digital disparities are addressed to ensure equitable access for all users.
