Outbreaks can affect mental health. Healthcare workers have also been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the mental well-being of students studying at the faculty of health sciences may be impaired. The present study aimed to determine the mental well-being levels of the students in a health sciences faculty during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology checklist was used to report the present study. A descriptive design study was conducted with 393 health sciences faculty students enrolled at a state university in Kırıkkale. The statistical analyses indicated that the students’ mean well-being level was 50.1 ± 11.0. Of the students, 22.6% had a low, 58.3% had a moderate, and 19.1% had a high level of mental well-being. Interventional studies can be conducted after the COVID-19 pandemic to increase the students’ well-being level.
