This article investigates the factors of leadership behaviour among administrative executives that influence the operation of hotel businesses in Greece. The methodological framework is based on Exploratory Factor Analysis, utilizing primary field research data collected from 142 managers of luxury hotels in Greece. Statistical hypothesis testing was used to verify the research variables. Specifically, a non-parametric analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The research highlights critical factors such as management style, job performance, employee benefits, care for staff, and leadership behaviour. The study concludes that managers must invest in human capital. This can be achieved by guiding employees through training programs, fostering corporate culture and organizational identification, and implementing employer branding, diversity management, talent management, and organizational development. Furthermore, strategic succession planning, sound labour relations, and a robust rewards and benefits system are essential to incentivize staff and retain capable executives. Ultimately, these practices drive excellent performance, which is vital for achieving the strategic goals of each hotel business.
