Background and Aims: Ticagrelor (TICA) is a platelet aggregation inhibitor used in combination with acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) in patients with acute coronary syndrome to prevent thrombotic events, such as myocardial infarction. Rosuvastatin is a lipid-lowering agent that reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases by inhibiting endogenous cholesterol synthesis. Considering the high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases and frequent concomitant use of these drugs, simultaneous analysis of TICA, ASA, and ROS is of great importance. The main goal of the current study was to develop a validated analytical procedure capable of simultaneously quantifying all three active pharmaceutical ingredients within tablet formulations. Methods: An HPLC-based approach was established for the simultaneous analysis of ticagrelor, acetylsalicylic acid, and rosuvastatin, ensuring full compliance with international validation guidelines. An Inertsil C18 analytical column was used to achieve chromatographic separation with a mobile phase consisting of 70% acetonitrile and 30% orthophosphoric acid buffer (pH 2.68). A flow rate of 1.0 mL/min was maintained throughout the elution, while detection was performed at 237 nm.Results: Linearity studies demonstrated that the linearity of the calibration curves was established within the concentration range of 10–135 μg/mL for ticagrelor, 10–200 μg/mL for acetylsalicylic acid, and 5–40 μg/mL for rosuvastatin. The developed method was suitable for the simultaneous quantitative analysis of all three drugs in tablet formulations. Furthermore, this method may serve as a basis for future simultaneous quantitative analyses of biological fluids, including serum, plasma, and urine samples obtained from patients with cardiovascular diseases.
