Objective: To determine the agronomic and quality characteristics of diverse black cumin populations under the ecological conditions of Aydın.Materials and Methods: During the 2023–2024 growing season, 12 populations and the Çameli variety were evaluated at Aydın Adnan Menderes University using a randomized block design with four replications. Results: In the trial, the time to first flowering was 52-77.25 days, the time to 50% flowering was 59-92 days, the vegetative period was 104-142.25 days, plant height 28.49-39.85 cm, seed yield per plant 0.86–1.76 g/plant, thousand-seed weight 2.63-4.31 g, seed yield 27.08-83.85 kg/da, and fixed oil ratio 25.95-38.22%.Conclusion: The highest seed yield was obtained from the Sivas-Şarkışla population, while the highest fixed oil ratio was recorded in the Çameli cultivar.
