A novel series of tricyclic isoxazolidine–imidazole derivatives (3a–l) bearing substituted phenyl groups was designed, synthesized, and evaluated as selective cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitors. The graphical abstract image was partly generated with Google Gemini.
