Dentists’ perceptions of factors influencing implant treatment demand according to tooth loss severity

Aims: This study evaluated dentists’ perceptions of implant treatment demand and investigated factors perceived to influence patients’ decisions regarding implant therapy based on tooth loss severity.Methods: In this cross-sectional survey, 78 practicing dentists completed a validated 12-item questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were calculated for all variables. Individual implant-related attitude items (Q8a-Q8f) were compared across five perceived tooth-loss categories using the Kruskal-Wallis test, followed by Dunn’s test with Bonferroni adjustment.
