Abstract

Objective

Students majoring in new energy materials face heavy academic pressure in data learning, which easily causes psychological stress, unstable mental state and even affects mental health, thus restricting the improvement of data literacy. This study explores the psychological foundation of their data literacy and its educational cultivation paths, aiming to provide a theoretical basis for alleviating academic psychological pressure, optimizing mental state and improving data literacy cultivation efficiency.

Subjects and Methods

Taking 180 new energy materials major students of different grades as research subjects, psychological scales and questionnaires were used to measure their psychological pressure, mental health status, learning motivation and data literacy level, and correlation analysis was adopted to explore the internal connection between psychological factors and data literacy development.

Results

Low psychological resilience and high academic psychological pressure are associated with poor data literacy of students, and negative mental states will further worsen their learning efficiency and mental health; good mental health and low psychological pressure can stabilize learning mental state and significantly improve students' data learning ability and literacy level.

Conclusions

Psychological foundation is a key factor affecting the data literacy of new energy materials major students, with psychological pressure and mental health status as core mediating variables. Targeted psychological intervention and cultivation can alleviate academic pressure, protect mental health, optimize learning mental state, and thus effectively improve the data literacy of students in this major.
