Current trends in tourism development in Galicia

In the years following the COVID-19 pandemic, international tourism has continued to grow rapidly. Spain continues to be the second most popular tourist destination in the world. Tourism in Galicia is also experiencing rapid growth. There are a number of prerequisites for this, the most important of which are the Camino de Santiago and the rich cultural and historical heritage in the region. This allows the development of both traditional types of tourism and alternative forms of tourism.
