Current states in an SNINS junction near the critical temperature

The current in an asymmetric SNINS junction is calculated at nearly critical temperatures by using the microscopic theory. It is shown that the tunnel current depends significantly on the position of the insulator in the N-layer. Among other things, the temperature dependence of current for low transparencies of tunnel junction varies with the position of the insulator.
