Cultural competence in school nursing: A little bit of humility might be in order
Precious O'DriscollAs school nursing services support increasingly diverse communities, cultural responsiveness has become central to effective specialist community public health nursing practice. This article explores the limitations of viewing cultural competence as an endpoint and argues for cultural humility, reflection and lifelong learning as essential foundations for equitable care.
