Crisis management in the holy Quran
Mohammad Rahimi, Youssouf GuindoCrises manifest in various forms and can challenge human life in different ways. Approaching and managing crises from an Islamic perspective is the subject of this study, which aims to elucidate the stages and strategies of crisis management based on Quranic guidance. By employing thematic analysis-a commonly used qualitative research method-the Quranic verses are reviewed to explore crisis management methods. The findings suggest that crisis management follows a four-stage process: pre-crisis, onset of crisis, the period during crisis, and post-crisis. For each stage, Quranic guidance provides specific strategies that, when implemented, can prevent crises from emerging and minimize the negative impacts should they occur.
