Purpose: The aim of this study is to adapt the Creative Self-Regulation Scale, developed to determine students' self-regulation skills in creative projects, to Turkish culture. Method: Following the translation process suggested by Hambleton et al. (2005), initial translation, back-translation, and final checks were performed. Foreign language, science, and measurement-evaluation experts evaluated the scale according to the adaptation stages, and the scale was finalized. A survey design of quantitative research was used in the study. The translated scale was administered to 167 high school students. Findings: Exploratory factor analysis yielded a three-factor structure consisting of 25 items explaining 45.34% of the variance, and this structure was confirmed by confirmatory factor analysis. After validity checks, Cronbach's alpha and composite reliability coefficients were calculated to check the reliability of the scale, and it was determined that the reliability coefficients were greater than 0.70 for both the overall scale and the sub-factors. Conclusion: In conclusion, this study adapted a theoretically based measurement tool encompassing the dimensions of creative self-regulation into Turkish, and the validity and reliability of the adapted scale were checked. This measurement tool can be used, particularly by researchers, lecturers, and teachers, to determine students' levels of creative self-regulation.
