Creating Growth Poles Based on Advanced Development Territories: International Experience and the Possibility of Its Implementation in Russia

The article explores the concept of «poles of growth» as a tool for the spatial development of the Russian Federation, focusing on the possibility of using territories of advanced development (TAD) to create poles of growth based on them. The study analyzes the foreign practice of creating poles of growth based on analogues of Russian TAD, highlights the key success factors for the implementation of poles of growth. The possibility of implementing foreign experience into Russian practice is analyzed, and factors contributing to and hindering the successful creation of growth poles based on TAD in Russia are identified.
