Corruption in The Nigerian Context: A Historical and Theological Appraisal
NGGADA P. AThis article examines corruption and its effects in the Nigerian life situation from religious perspective. Historically, corruption is a global phenomenon its endemic nature has affected every strata of human society; hence no nation is immune to its crutching effects. This paper explores the multifaceted dimension of corruption in the Nigerian society. The method adopted for this research paper is historical and theological approach. Findings show that every political, social, economic, cultural and religious institution is grappling with this monster. Having seen the deteriorating condition the author came up with proffered solution and recommendations as a panacea for fighting corruption.
