Corrosion inhibition of mild steel in HCl by lily bulb extract: experimental evaluation and first-principles calculations

Lily bulb extract was studied as a mild steel corrosion inhibitor, achieving an inhibition efficiency of 98.8% at 150 mg L ⁻¹ , with its inherent inhibition mechanism revealed by first-principles calculations.
