Maria Aleksandrovna Mironenko, Valeriya Sergeevna Kuznetsova, Tatyana Anatolyevna PopovaThe subject of the study was the application of methods of emotion-image therapy with elements of art therapy for correcting self-attitude and subjective well-being in adult women, as well as the study of the dynamics of correlational relationships between the components of these constructs during the process of psychotherapeutic intervention. The aim of the research was to assess the possibilities and effectiveness of using a program of emotional-image therapy with elements of art therapy to correct self-attitude, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and subjective well-being in adult women in the context of increasing psycho-emotional stress in modern society. Achieving the stated goal involved conducting empirical research aimed at testing the hypothesis that the integrative use of image-symbolic methods of psychotherapy ensures not only quantitative improvement of indicators but also qualitative structural reorganization of the person’s self-awareness. The empirical study involved 120 women aged 24 to 58 years. The diagnostic tools included a self-attitude questionnaire (V.V. Stolin, S.R. Panteleev) and a method for diagnosing subjective well-being (R.M. Shaminov, T.V. Beskova). The correction program consisted of 10 group online sessions. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that it is the first to empirically confirm the effectiveness of the program of emotional-image therapy with elements of art therapy for correcting self-attitude in adults, as well as to reveal the program's ability to provide not only quantitative improvement of indicators but also structural integration of self-attitude and subjective well-being into a unified self-regulation system. The results of the study can be used in the practice of counseling psychologists, psychotherapists, and in the work of psychological services and centers for psychological assistance in developing and conducting programs for correcting self-attitude in adults. Conclusions: the developed program provides a significant positive dynamics of key components of self-attitude, increases the level of subjective well-being, and also forms a stable relationship between a positive attitude towards oneself and the sense of well-being.
