CORRECTION OF GUMMY SMILE BY SURGICAL LIP REPOSITIONING: A CASE REPORT

Excessive gingival display or gummy smile results in an unesthetic smile, which can be uncomfortable for many patients. The lip repositioning technique has emerged as an effective way to correct excessive gingival display. For patients unwilling to undergo orthognathic surgery for correction of mild vertical maxillary excess, this technique offers them promising results. The technique provides patients with good esthetic outcomes.
