Coronary Plaque Phenotype in Ischemic Stroke Survivors: A Quantitative Coronary CT Angiography Comparison with Acute Myocardial Infarction and Stable Chest Pain

Ischemic stroke survivors displayed a lower and more stable coronary plaque burden than matched participants with acute myocardial infarction or stable chest pain despite similar stenosis severity, suggesting that coronary CT angiography may improve risk stratification.
