Coronary artery perforation – A case series

Abstract

Coronary artery perforation (CAP) is a rare but life-threatening complication of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), requiring early recognition and management. With the availability of new and better hardware and the use of new techniques, interventionalists tend to attempt complex lesions, which may increase the risk of this dreadful complication. We present a series of six cases of CAP and their management.
