Copper-catalyzed synthesis of benzofuro[3,2-c]pyridine derivatives

This article presents a method for synthesizing benzofurano[3,2-c]pyridine derivatives using copper sulfate and DTBP in a nitrogen atmosphere. The synthesis involves the oxidation of 2-methylpiperidine to an imine, subsequent coupling with phenolic compounds, and further oxidation to yield the final product with high efficiency.
