Convivialists of the world, unite! A reply to our comrades

In this reply to the five commentaries on the third convivialist manifesto, ‘Convivialism or barbarism’, we take up the question on which our critics converge: how to move from principles to practice. We acknowledge that convivialism has so far failed to become the common banner around which social movements opposed to neoliberalism could gather. Responding in turn to Humbert, Adloff, Elder-Vass, Traue and Pfahl, and Banerjee, we defend a normative reconstruction of the principles of civil society, a Maussian reading of the struggle for recognition and pluriversal dialogues with the Global South.
