Abstract

This chapter examines the collaboration of consumer ethics, Industry 6.0, and environmental stewardship. It emphasizes the fact that technology should be ecologically responsible. The human-centered tools of Industry 6.0, which are based on human–machine cooperation, hyper-personalization, and intelligent automation, provide new opportunities to innovate in a responsible way, as well as to maintain the value chains open. Such changes are important only under the control of ethically minded consumers who require justice, transparency, and sustainability. An extensive literature review indicates that the three dimensions of sustainable industrial transition (ethical consumerism, Industry 6.0 technologies, and environmental stewardship) are intertwined foundations. The demands of consumers compel companies to use traceability systems, digital disclosure tools, and human–machine symbiosis. The tools enhance governance, CSR/ESG performance, and stakeholder collaboration. This is made possible through these processes since it is a means of facilitating circular design, green manufacturing, and green product innovation. They deliver strong value chains, reduce environmental effects, and enhance social welfare. Sustainable practices are reinforced by policy reforms and consumer engagement on feedback loops. This chapter states that the more informed and values-driven people are, the higher their expectations are, which determines corporate sustainability work. Technology and morality collide in the creation of eco-efficient industrial models through the combination of Industry 6.0 with rigorous ethical standards and positive governance. In the end, this chapter demonstrates that responsible innovation in the industry can be triggered by consumer ethics. It keeps the pace of fast technological development in tune with environmental management and social good.
