Complete genome sequence of multidrug-resistant Edwardsiella ictaluri A21-00102 isolated from channel catfish ( Ictalurus punctatus ) in the United States

Edwardsiella ictaluri is the causative agent of enteric septicemia of catfish, a major disease associated with high mortality and economic loss in U.S. aquaculture. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of E. ictaluri A21-00102, a multidrug-resistant strain, consisting of a chromosome of 3,829,734 bp and three plasmids.
