ABSTRACT

Goatpox is an economically significant disease in goats caused by strains of goatpox virus. Here, we report the genome sequence of Capripoxvirus goatpox isolate BLRI_Bangladesh_GTPV-43 obtained from a goat in Bangladesh in 2021, contributing to the limited genomic data available for goatpox in South Asia and providing a foundation for future comparative and evolutionary studies.
