Complete circularized whole genome of a Staphylococcus aureus strain isolated from the urine of an asymptomatic postmenopausal woman

Here, we report the circularized whole-genome sequence of Staphylococcus aureus strain Sau1478_C163 isolated from the midstream urine of an asymptomatic postmenopausal woman. This serves as a reference genome of a urinary S. aureus isolate for comparative studies related to urinary tract colonization and infection.
