ShaydurovThe article discusses the significant didactic potential of professional skills competitions in the system of secondary vocational education as one of the important conditions for implementing a practice-oriented approach in personnel training and the formation and development of innovative competencies among students and teachers. The article presents the organizational and pedagogical conditions and the structural and functional model of interaction between the closest social partners, namely, an educational organization and a specialized enterprise in the mechanical engineering industry. The article also examines the features of the innovative component of professional skills competitions in working professions and specialties. The article provides the author's recommendations for the joint preparation of college students for the "Young Professionals" professional skills competition and identifies further research areas to enhance the effectiveness of the domestic competitive movement.
