Collagen‐Based Regenerative Therapy in a Critical Ischemic Diabetic Foot Ulcer: A Limb‐Salvaging Case Report

A 58‐year‐old man with diabetes, end‐stage renal disease, and severe peripheral arterial disease had a chronic ischemic foot ulcer refractory to one year of conventional therapy. Injectable collagen‐based regenerative therapy produced complete epithelialization within three months and durable limb salvage, even after a thermally induced recurrence requiring revascularization.
