Vikram Bhausaheb Vikhe, Ahanaa Chakraborty, Isha Desai, Kalakota Pranavi, Priya KhaireAbstract
Malaria and scrub typhus are both significant causes of acute febrile illness in the Indian subcontinent. Due to their overlapping clinical manifestations, it can be a challenge to distinguish between the two. Coinfection, although rarely seen, may lead to greater disease severity and adverse clinical outcomes. Here, we report a rare occurrence of malaria and scrub typhus coinfection and its presentation.
