Cluster of genomically linked Mycobacterium abscessus infections following hair transplantation in Turkey

Whole genome sequencing (WGS) and epidemiologic data strongly support a common-source outbreak. These findings highlight risks of medical tourism and the role of genomic testing in cross-border surveillance.
