CLOUD SERVICES IN ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICES: MERITS AND FLAWS

The subject of this research is the accountancy concept of applying cloud technologies (cloud services) that would provide hardware-independent access to the functions of typical accountancy apps. The authors analyze merits and flaws of organizing ‘cloud accountancy’. They also give consideration to the problems of paramount importance faced by both end customers and those companies developing software of the said type.
