Clinical features of nummular headache

Nummular headache is a rare but probably insufficiently diagnosed headache. The peculiarity of this headache is clear and permanent localization in scalp with possible multiple simultaneous foci. The purpose of this article is to give an idea of nummular headache, to improve understanding of this disease, clinical manifestations and identification of headache. The article discusses clinical and epidemiological features, pathogenetic mechanisms and available treatment for nummular headache.
