Chitosan-based multifunctional hydrogel coatings with dual antibacterial and antioxidant properties are used for preservation and anti-corrosion
Liang Qu, Di Xu, Yajie Ren, Jianghui Ren, Luyao Huang, Lujing Hua, Haoqi Wu, Luya WangCTS-ZnO&CA hydrogel coating with chlorogenic acid and ZnO shows strong antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and MDR S. aureus via membrane disruption, ROS, and biofilm inhibition, and preserves tomatoes and citrus by reducing decay.
