As education becomes more practice-oriented, global, and virtual, the need for experiential learning increases. The X-Culture Project, established in 2010, provides students with an opportunity to complete an international consulting project for a real-life client while working in a global virtual team with peers from several different countries. In the process, the students experience first-hand the challenges and learn the best international collaboration practices and international business consulting. The article describes the X-Culture model and provides suggestions and guidance to International Business processors who seek to incorporate experiential learning projects in their curriculum.
