Cascaded polyiodide trapping by defect-engineered SiC/bacterial cellulose separators enables long-life Zn-I 2 batteries up to 100 °C

A defect-engineered SiC/BC Janus separator suppresses polyiodide shuttling and dissipates heat, homogenizing interfacial thermal/electric fields to enable Zn-I 2 batteries with >3800 cycles at 80 °C and stable operation at 100 °C.
