Canalicular Adenoma with Unicystic Morphology—A Rare Case Report

BSTRACT

Canalicular adenoma (CA) is a benign salivary gland tumor with characteristic histopathologic feature predominantly seen in the minor salivary glands. It has a female predilection and commonly presents as a painless, slow-growing, nonulcerated nodule or swelling. The multicystic type is the most observed variant, with a very rare presentation as a solitary cystic lesion. We hereby discuss a case of CA with unicystic morphology.
