As the lessening of Very Large Scale Integrated circuits the interconnect length results long. Therefore the consumption of power is increased which results from the coupling capacitance. When frequency of operation increases, the inductance effect among interconnects cannot be ignored no longer. Therefore both coupling capacitance and coupling inductance reduces the performance of the latest design of interconnect.
