Broad visible emission from a blue-light-excitable single-phase NaLaS 2 :Bi 3+ phosphor for high-CRI white LEDs
Yutong Dong, Hong Wang, Song Ma, Limin Wei, Ruizhu Fan, Mingming Xing, Qiang Pang, Yao Fu, Ge Zhu, Ying TianWe report a blue-light-excitable NaLaS 2 :Bi 3+ phosphor that exhibits broadband visible emission from 500 to 750 nm. Using this single phosphor, full-visible-spectrum WLEDs with a high CRI of 87.36 were obtained when combined with a blue LED chip.
