Boas-type theorems for the Sturm-Liouville transform

We introduce generalized Lipschitz classes $\mbox{Lip}_k(\beta)$ and $\mbox{lip}_k(\beta)$ of functions associated with the Sturm-Liouville operator $L$; and we prove two versions of Boas-type theorems for the Sturm-Liouville transform $\mathscr{F}$. An application to Sturm-Liouville multipliers is given.
