Bifunctional electrochemical OER and HER activity of Ta2O5 nanoparticles over Fe2O3 nanoparticles

We have synthesized a Fe2O3/Ta2O5 double oxide heterostructure using a facile hydrothermal method. The resulting composite exhibits strong OER/HER activity - at an overpotential of 231/201 -and a Tafel slope value of 80/136 mV dec−1 in an alkaline and acidic medium respectively.
