Abstract

Medical manuscripts are among the most crucial sources of information, especially on Unani Medicine. Medical science has always been essential for preserving human health and well-being. Alongside their preference for ancient Greek literature, Unani medical authors and practitioners acknowledged and translated significant Unani medical texts and manuscripts into Persian and Urdu. Abu Bakr Mohammad bin Zakaria Razi authored and compiled numerous important works on Unani medicine. He was esteemed as an author, with most of his cures grounded in clinical experiences. The renowned physician of Hyderabad, Hakim Mohammad Masoom Khan, rendered the Arabic text of Bara al-Sā‘a into Persian. This manuscript has been translated into English for the benefit of individuals who do not know Urdu or Persian, given its importance.
