Band gap engineering in pyridyl-functionalized two-dimensional (2D) CuSCN coordination polymers
Jetnipat Songkerdthong, Thanasee Thanasarnsurapong, Adisak Boonchun, David J. Harding, Pichaya Pattanasattayavong3D CuSCN is transformed into 2D sheet structures when coordinated with pyridine (Py)-based ligands at a specific 1 : 1 ratio. By varying the substituent at the 3-position, the optical and electronic properties can be systematically tuned.
