Balancing defect activation and framework stability: oxygen-vacancy-regulated MnO 2 cathodes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Oxygen-vacancy engineering, pre-intercalation, and heteroatom/electronic-structure regulation jointly stabilize MnO 2 cathodes by suppressing Mn dissolution and accelerating Zn 2+ storage, enabling high capacity and long cycle life.
