Backbone-engineered linear polysiloxane sorbents with pendant primary amines for water- and oxidation-tolerant direct air capture

UnJin Ryu, Jiaqi Zhang, Mark Robertson, Wenyang Zhao, MinGyu Song, Christopher W. Jones

Relocating amines from an oxidation-prone poly(amine) backbone to side chains on a hydrophobic poly(siloxane) suppresses oxidative degradation and water co-adsorption, reducing the cost of direct air capture.
