Assessment of clinical and laboratory markers for outcome prediction in burn injury patients: A retrospective study in a tertiary care institute

Burn is an injury that cause major sufferings to the patient. Burn is also associated with high morality & morbidity. Survival of the patient after burn injury depend on timely fluid resuscitation, sepsis control in addition to various other factors like percentage & depth of burn. Various clinical & laboratory parameters can be helpful in early identification of patients who are at risk. Early identification of these high risk patients & timely intervention can help in decreasing the mortality.
